Born in Porto in 1988, Rita Mota Ferreira is a lawyer registered with the Portuguese Bar Association, with an academic and professional background marked by excellence, technical rigor, and a keen eye on the contemporary challenges of Law.
She holds a degree and a master's in Forensic Legal Sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, having developed her master's dissertation in the field of Cybercrime. She also holds a postgraduate degree in Law and Technology from the Portuguese Catholic University (Porto School) and is specialized in European Economic Criminal Law by IDPEE.
She works mainly in the areas of Criminal Law, Law of New Technologies, Cybercrime, Civil and Contract Law, with extensive practical experience and continuous scientific updating.
She has actively participated in the associative and institutional life of the legal profession:
She speaks fluent English, French, and German, with knowledge of Italian, and has collaborated in several TV reports, particularly in the area of cybercrime.
